LEAF COLLECTION IN THE TOWNSHIP’S DEVELOPMENTS WILL BEGIN OCTOBER 14th, 2024
(ENDING DATE IN DECEMBER TO BE DETERMINED).
The Township Road Crew begins the leaf pick up program in developments and other areas where the crew can work safely.
Only leaves should be placed along the curb in front of your house. Leaf piles that contain debris will not be collected. Do not place grass clippings, soil, yard or house plants, stones, bricks, trash, branches, or animal waste among the leaves. The leaf collector is designed to pick up leaves only and may become damaged by picking up any other items, delaying or canceling leaf collection in the entire township. Please note that the Road Crew cannot pick up any leaf piles that have a vehicle parked directly in front of or behind the leaf pile. The Road Crew and equipment need ample space to clean up the leaves.
The Road Crew will make passes throughout the neighborhoods throughout this period. There is NO NEED to call the Township to let them know that you have leaves out as they will not be doing specific areas on specific days.
Leaf collection will end for the season the first week of December, weather permitting.
