Original post: With Tropical Storm Ida making its way through our area, please read the PPL notice concerning preparation and advice for getting through storms under the “Spotlight” section of this website.
We would also like to make you aware that due to the severe nature being predicted for this storm, the township administrative offices on Brownsville Road will be closed on Wednesday, September 1. We will be working from home and monitoring phones from there. If you call in you will need to leave a message and someone from the office will get back to you. Make sure to leave a phone number where you can be reached. You can also send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
IF YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY CALL 911 – DO NOT CALL THE TOWNSHIP OFFICE.
Once the storm passes, if you have property damage due to flooding or wind conditions, please take photos of the damage and e-mail them along with information on the damage to the office at email@example.com. This information will be passed onto the Township Emergency Coordinator, so that there will be records for you to make claims, if a state of emergency is declared. Please keep accurate records and documentation.
