The application to become a member is available here: LHT Dog Park Application
The Recreation Board would like to thank all those who helped make this park a reality, especially Kim Zientak, Kim Bell, Heath & Jocelyn Kearney, The Leisey Family, Bonnie Page, Mel Myers, Ruben & Theresa Rodriguez, Sue & Paul Grimes, Lisa Glenn and the Township Road Crew.
The Rec Board is also looking into constructing an ice skating rink. Several options are being considered including the use of a synthetic surface.
Plans have begun for the celebration of the Township’s 175th Anniversary. Sub-committees are forming to handle promotion, vendors, food and entertainment. If you are able to help in any way, please contact Lori Haag at the Township office: firstname.lastname@example.org or 610-678-3393. More information will be posted as it becomes available, so please check back often for updates.
The Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 8th at the St. John’s Hains Church Picnic Grove. The hunt starts at 2:00 p.m. Please look for your special post card invitation in your mail box.
The Recreation Board meets on the first Monday of the month at 6:00 p.m. Meetings are open to the public. Each special event needs many hands to help with the planning and successful completion of the event. Please consider coming out to a meeting; these hard working Board members could really use your assistance. Please call the Township Office to confirm meeting dates and times.
